Dr Aiad Essa
Dr Essa is a General Practitioner and Skin Cancer Specialist.
He graduated in 1996 from Basra Medical School located in Iraq. He migrated to Australia in late 2001.
Dr Essa worked as an intern at Royal Melbourne Health in early 2002. He started his career as a junior doctor in the surgical field and over the subsequent years he has worked in multiple health departments.
In late 2013, Dr Essa decided to open his own personal medical centre, on Barry Road in Campbellfield, to expand his health service for the local community who were in desperate need of general medical attention.
In addition to Dr Essa’s strong interest in general medicine, he also carries a great interest in dermatology where he is active in the detection and management of skin cancers.
Dr Essa is available for consultation Monday to Friday 9.00am – 4.00pm @ Fordgate Medical Centre
Dr Mir Mohamed Habib
Dr Habib has been in general practice for over 40 years. After completing his Bachelor of Medicine & Doctorate of Science in London, he returned to Australia and setup his own clinic to help service the need of the local community. He has seen the evolution of general practice and continues to provide his knowledge and experience to this field.
Dr Habib is a general practitioner with an interest in chronic disease management.
Dr Habib is available for consultation Monday to Thursday from 9.00am – 1.00pm
Saturday from 9.00am – 1.00pm
Dr Leila Moradi
Dr Leila graduated with her medical degree from Tehran, Iran in 2009. She has worked in a variety of settings as a GP in both rural and metropolitan clinics before she moved to Australia in 2015.Since then, she has been working at Barry Road Medical Centre as a general practitioner.
Dr Leila has a keen interest in

- – children’s health
- – chronic disease management
- – screening & managment of cancers
- – small procedures
Dr Leila is fluent in both Farsi and English.
Outside of her role as a busy GP at Barry Road Medical Centre, Dr Leila enjoys nature, music, literature and movies.

Dr Atheer Hmood is a general practitioner who has worked at Barry Road Medical Centre for the past 3 years.
Dr Hmood graduated from the university of Baghdad, Iraq in 2000, and worked in family medicine field for 7 years their.
He then migrated to Australia where he has worked for the past 10 years.
Dr Hmood is currently working towards gaining his fellowship from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
He is committed to providing the best of care for his patients and heling his community by better educating them in issues relating to their health.

Dr. Hassan Hamie
Dr Hassan trained in Lebanon where he graduated in 2002. He won a Master’s Degree in Science from Manchester, UK. After a period of time working at Royal Melbourne Health, he started his career in the surgical field before settling into general practice.
Dr Hassan enjoys working with people of all ages and backgrounds but has a particular interest in child health, aged care, refugee health, diabetes and heart disease.
Currently Dr Hassan is striving towards providing holistic care in family medicine. He is a warm and knowledgeable doctor who draws great strength from his innumerable years of experience both in Australia and abroad.
Dr Hassan is available for consultation on the following days;
Monday to Friday, 4.30pm - 10.00pm
Alternate Saturdays & Sundays 12.00pm - 5.00pm
Dr Ali Al-Rubaye is a general practitioner. He graduated in 1991 from the Basra Medical School located in Iraq, and completed his PhD in Orthopedic surgery in 1998 from Iraqi Commission for Medical Specializations in Baghdad/Iraq.
He was a member of faculty of Basra Medical School and worked as an orthopedic surgeon at Basra General Hospital till December 2015 when he migrated to Australia.
He started his job at Barry Road Medical Centre in March 2018.
In addition to Dr Al-Rubaye's strong interest in general medicine, he also carries a great interest in orthopedics as he has good experience in management of fractures and other musculoskeletal problems.
Dr Erika Mustika studied medicine at the University of Melbourne and graduated in 2009.
She worked at a number of hospitals prior to specializing as a General Practitioner. Dr Erika received fellowship with Royal Australian College of General Practitioner on 2017.
Dr Erika enjoys all aspects of General Practice, and has special interest in:

Dr Erika is fluent in both English & Indonesian.
Outside of work, Dr Erika is a mother of three young children, who enjoys gardening, experimenting in the kitchen, and learning more about parenting & early childhood education.
Dr Adjoa Mensa is a Female Doctor and is currently consulting at Barry Road Medical Centre.
She is available Thursday 10.00am – 4.00pm and
Sunday 10.00am – 4.00pm.
